More About Me

Who is TRACEY DOUGLAS and Why is she a great choice??

TRACEY is a native Floridian. She was raised and educated in Jacksonville Florida. She grew up in a stable community with many of the same families since age of 4. She was educated around many of the same people for much of her formative education. These early experiences instilled in Tracey a strong sense of COMMUNITY, FAMILY and FRIENDSHIP LIFE and STABILITY. She still visits the remaining families in the community when she visits HOME. These values are a dominate part of who Tracey is and she often relates and refers to them when she is helping a family with their home sale or purchase needs. TRACEY understands that selling and buying a home is filled with emotional connections and that decisions are often not transactional.

After graduating from THE BOLLES SCHOOL in Jacksonville, TRACEY attended UNIVERSITY of SOUTH CAROLINA, where she graduated with a degree in BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION. Again ties made during these years still remain and are even more important today. TRACEY cherishes and respects her friends. It is through these friendships that TRACEY has learned about LOYALTY, TRUST and DEPENDABILITY. When you work with TRACEY, you learn fairly quickly that these traits are within her. She treats each client as if they are her only PRIORITY. She is not about racking up awards and accolades. Instead, she is LOYAL and COMMITTED and works along with her clients for the best possible outcome.

TRACEY'S next phase of her life brought her back to Jacksonville. She secured employment while in college and after graduating college got her SERIES 7 and worked at (former DEAN WITTER REYNOLDS) now Morgan Stanley as a Stock Broker. It was during this experience that TRACEY learned that UNDETERRED FOCUS and CONSISTENCY were key components to success. As a stock broker, much of the day is spent as a tele-prospector. It is how one finds and retains clients. TRACEY learned that PATIENCE is vital in gaining the trust of others. Patience also helps one to get through touch times and difficult situations.

TRACEY'S Financial Services career was a short one, just 3 years. Many of those lessons and skills remain with her today. Next stop, Corporate America. The next 3 years TRACEY was an account executive with then BELLSOUTH TELECOMMUNICATIONS. She was in charge of selling network services and large phone systems to medium sized corporate clients. It was the first job that TRACEY had that she got a "paycheck" and bonus were based on her performance and production. It was not too long before TRACEY learned that corporate sales often is accompanied by myriad of changes. Changes in authority, changes in mission and changes in expectations. She did not like that so much fell outside of her control. During this same time TRACEY met her future husband. He was a NAVAL AVIATOR based din Jacksonville. He had plans to pursue an Airline Pilot path after the US NAVY. Once he was out of the NAVY, he moved from Jacksonville and eventually ended in South Florida. TRACEY applied for a transfer in BELLSOUTH and moved to Miami to join KELWYN.

TRACEY AND KELWYN married in 1994. Today they are still married and have a beautiful daughter KENNEDY. Their union is founded in LOVE, FAITH and DEDICATION to the MARRIAGE, which have proven to a long time successful union. So many life lessons are found in a marriage, no matter a good or bad one. TRACEY has taken time to LISTEN, to QUESTION and ANALYZE and GROW. These are also important in all matters in life and work. Ultimately they shape you and benefit you and others that are important to you.
